1. Who we are
RADIANT ONCOLOGY WELLNESS LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates the Radiant RT mobile application (the "App"). The App is designed to help patients undergoing radiation therapy (RT) track symptoms, access educational content, and use guided audio sessions.

2. Important: this App is not a medical device
Radiant RT is an educational and self‑tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a medical device. Information you record is for your personal reference and to share with your own healthcare team. See our Terms of Use for the full disclaimer.
3. What we collect
3.1 Account information
- Email address (when you sign in with email, Apple, or Google)
- A unique user ID generated by our authentication provider
- Name (only if you choose to share it via Apple Sign‑In or Google Sign‑In)
3.2 Health‑related self‑reported information
You voluntarily enter the following into the App:
- Treatment start date
- Treatment site (e.g., breast, head/neck, prostate, lung, pelvic, CNS/brain, or "other")
- Daily symptom ratings on a 1–10 scale for Energy / Fatigue, Skin, Pain, Mood, Sleep
- Optional free‑text notes you add to check‑ins
We treat this information as sensitive personal data and apply additional safeguards (see Section 6).
We are not a HIPAA Covered Entity and this information is provided by you for your own tracking. If you are using the App at the direction of a provider operating under HIPAA, please review your provider's privacy notice for how they handle information you subsequently share with them.
3.3 Subscription and purchase information
Subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive only subscription status and receipts via our subscription provider (RevenueCat). We never receive your credit card number or billing address.
3.4 Device and technical information
- Device type, OS version, app version, language, timezone
- A device identifier used to deliver push notifications (via OneSignal)
- Diagnostic / crash information (if enabled by the platform)
3.5 Usage information
- Which screens you view and which features you use, at an aggregated level, to improve the App
- Timestamps of check‑ins (to show you trends over time)
3.6 Information we do not collect
- Precise location
- Apple Health / Google Health Connect data
- Microphone or camera input
- Contacts, photos, or calendar data
We do not sell your personal information.
4. How we use your information
- Provide and operate the App, including showing you your own history and trends
- Deliver evidence‑informed educational tips that match the symptoms and treatment week you've entered
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure
- Process your subscription (if you choose to subscribe)
- Send push notifications you've opted into
- Diagnose crashes and fix bugs
- Improve the App by understanding which features are used
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your health‑related information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR users)
- Contract — to provide the App you signed up for
- Consent — for health‑related data and push notifications; withdrawable at any time
- Legitimate interests — for security, diagnostics, and basic usage analytics, balanced against your rights
- Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose information
6. How we protect your information
- All network traffic uses TLS (HTTPS).
- Data at rest in our backend is encrypted.
- Access to your data is restricted by row‑level security policies tied to your account.
- Personnel access to production data is limited to staff with a specific operational need.
- Health‑related self‑reported information is treated with additional internal access restrictions.
If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and, where required, regulators.

8. International data transfers
Our primary processing occurs in the United States. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
9. How long we keep your information
- Account data: while your account is active
- Symptom entries / check‑ins: while your account is active
- Subscription receipts: up to 7 years (tax/dispute)
- Diagnostic / crash logs: up to 90 days
- Aggregated analytics: up to 24 months
When you delete your account, we delete your account data and symptom entries within 30 days, except where longer retention is legally required.
10. Your rights and choices
- Access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent (depending on your jurisdiction)
- Delete your account in‑app under More → Profile → Delete Account
- Email support@RadiantRTapp.com to exercise any right — we respond within 30 days
California residents: We do not sell or share your personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising, and we do not use sensitive personal information for any purpose other than those described in Section 4.
11. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
Material changes will be notified in the App or by email before they take effect. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
